Using Materials Borrowed on Inter-Library Loan

The way readers can use materials borrowed on Inter-Library Loan depends on the form of the materials as they arrive from the lending library:

  • borrowed books:  Books are for reference use only in the Library’s Reading Room;
  • photocopies:  Readers may retain photocopies. They are notified by phone or by email that the requested material has arrived and can be collected at the Library counter. If requested by the reader, the photocopy can be sent by post directly to the address provided;
  • material scans: The same rules apply as in case of photocopies. Files can be sent directly to the reader’s email.

Borrowing materials from Polish libraries is free of charge. Copying fees are set by the lending library.
