The base provides support for research in the field of chemistry and related sciences, including research on new drugs, materials and food. Multi-disciplinary repository and digital library for scientific institutions forming the Consortium of Digital Repository of Scientific Institutes. It covers a wide range of resources, including digitized archival materials, scientific publications, research documentation and cultural heritage. There are many current publications in these resources - including latests numbers of journals issued by individual Institutes. Most of the resources are available free of charge, and their subject matter is very diverse.

The Open Research Data Repository (RepOD) is dedicated to every field of science. It is a Polish repository of open research data, created for scientists and institutions interested in sharing their resources. Each deposited dataset is provided with a DOI number. It is run by the Open Science Platform team of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling at the University of Warsaw.
