Access Engineering | Otwórz | Access Engineering - a teaching base containing interdisciplinary publications in the field of broadly understood engineering and tools supporting the teaching process. The database provides access to books (including over a hundred textbooks), instructional videos presenting solutions to engineering, mathematial and scientific problems as well as demonstrations of engineering equipment and processes. There are also spreadsheets to streamline complex calculations, data visualisation tools and specially designed curriculum maps for lecturers. These solutions are extremely helpful when teaching in English. CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform | Otwórz | CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform – database containing information on applied chemistry and engineering, biochemistry, physical, inorganic and analytical chemistry. The collected data comes from selected chemical journals, books, reports and patents. The database resources include bibliographic data supplemented with abstracts and links to full texts. You can also find here descrciptions of chemical substances and reactions. The test launched access to three components of the platform: CAS SciFinder, CAS Analytical Methods oraz CAS Formulus. Information searches can be conducted by structural formulas, summary formulas, chemical reactions, chemical names, authors’ names or document types, among others. Use of the databases requires registration and creation of an account. One account gives access to all three components of the platform.
