Access Engineering Open

Access Engineering - a teaching database containing interdisciplinary publications in the broad field of engineering and tools to support the teaching process. It covers a wide range of engineering disciplines, such as aerospace engineering, chemical and biomedical engineering, civil engineering, computer science, electrical and energy engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical and materials engineering. The platform provides access to books (including over a hundred textbooks), instructional videos presenting solutions to engineering, mathematical and scientific problems, as well as demonstrations of engineering equipment and processes. It also includes spreadsheets to streamline complex calculations, data visualization tools, and specially designed curriculum maps for lecturers. These solutions are extremely helpful when teaching in English.

The expanded Knovel 35+AI database includes 35 standard thematic collections, 5 premium collections and AI-enhanced tools. The database provides access to approximately 13,000 titles in the sciences and technology - various fields of engineering, chemistry, materials science and nanotechnology. It also offers interactive tools such as tables, charts, calculators, physical unit converters and equations to support your own analysis and research. Implemented AI tools enable faster discovery of technical information and the summarization of found sources. All available collections can be found in the Technical References tab.
